The side panel that slides out of the cot can be lifted and lowered with just a pressing of a button. This makes it simple to reach inside and soothe a crying baby in the night. It has 11 height adjustments to fit nearly any mattress size, and adjustable folding feet to ensure that it is at the correct level.
The cot is padded, has mesh sides to increase ventilation, and its mattress is made from high-density foam to provide extra protection. It's also able to be cleaned to keep it clean. Additionally, it comes with a fitted sheet that is suitable for the cot.

The Roomie Glide is available to purchase from John Lewis for PS160, which Roanna felt was a reasonable price for a cot featuring such advanced features. She also liked how it was positioned in the bedroom and believed that the grey color would suit most modern homes. However, she pointed out that it isn't a great idea to rock a younger baby as it could set the stage for bad habits that will affect later sleep patterns.

The Chicco Next2Me Magic
This is one of Chicco's more expensive alternatives. However, it has numerous excellent features. It's designed as a side sleeper or standalone crib and is suitable for babies up to six months. It's easy to open and close the side panel thanks to a new mechanism. It's also more flexible than its predecessor, having 11 different height levels and feet that retract to fit under any bed.
Our testers loved the ease of access provided by the side panel, which can be moved upwards and downwards with just one push of a button. This was a huge help during feeding times at night, as it meant they could reach into and take their baby away without waking them up.
It is possible to lower the side panel by itself, but this isn't recommended since it increases the likelihood that your child could get out of the cot. However, the safety locking mechanism ensures that it will only remain in place when it is attached to the bed of the parent correctly. It's a bit heavier than other side-sleepers, however, it is easily moved from one place to another. It's also foldable up into its travel bag which is a great option if you want to transport it. The only drawback our testers noticed was that the side panel did not flex like some of the other models, which made it difficult to see your baby from your own bed.

It took us about an hour to construct and was relatively easy to put together. The only downside to the instructions was that a few pictures did not have captions. This made it difficult for us to follow. Overall, the process was easy and the materials used were of high quality.
In the co-sleeping position, we discovered the Shnuggle Air to be an excellent option for breastfeeding mothers and women who have had a c-section because it lets them comfortably reach out to their newborn for feeding and comfort without having to climb out of their bed.
